Baby Space

A quiet corner of the sanctuary for rocking, cuddling, and nursing, or for little ones who want to stay close during worship.

A private washroom is steps away.

Toddler and Preschool Room

Toddlers and preschoolers have their own special space for active or quiet play, crafts, and reading.  Your child will be in good hands, with two caregivers, a washroom, and plenty of toys, books, and crafts.  This room is next to the sanctuary, so parents are never far (but far enough to enjoy worship and community on their own!)

Children Ages 5-11

School aged children spend the first part of worship with the full community – gathering, singing, and hearing scripture.  Then they go off to do age appropriate activities based on the worship theme of the day.  It’s diverse learning – sometimes in our gym (full sized!), sometimes in our kitchen (brand new!), sometimes in our craft room(loaded!), sometimes in our garden (small but mighty!), sometimes in small group settings (friendly!

Youth Groupmeets every second Sunday evening from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. We usually meet at the church – but sometimes in other locations – mixing it up with social, sharing, and social justice, all while building friendships and community.

Youth Ages 12-16

All youth are welcome to experience our deep and dynamic Sunday morning worship.   There’s plenty for you there!  And watch for the updates of our activities on St. A’s Twitter, Facebook, and e-newsletter.

It’s hard to commit to every Sunday, so we offer a flexible program that helps children feel at ease and engaged, whenever they come.  Oh, and always welcome to bring a friend …

Confirmation is a 6 week program exploring faith, spirit, and the very relevant questions and concerns of our time:  inclusivity and diversity, social justice and responsibility, self and relationship, purpose and peace.  There’s lively discussion, progressive thinking, and personal practice.

Two confirmation groups are available:  older youth (age 13 +) or adult.
