Gratitude may be a key to happiness – but we can’t be grateful all the time, right?
There’s so many troubles: crises, sicknesses, violences, accidents, disappointments…
So what then of happiness?
Susan offers a response and a reflection, drawing on the teachings of three wise monks: Christians David Steindle-Rast and Thomas Merton, and Buddhist Thich Nhat Hanh. They (and others) suggest there is a deeper layer to gratitude that, once known, can sustain us through the troubles.
So join us this Sunday – Susan, Kevin, the Mostly Righteous, the Choir, and you –
as we let the music, prayers and gratitude flow, giving thanks together.
