We are living in a climate emergency that requires all of our support for the care of God’s Creation and for steps to transition from the use of fossil fuels to renewable energy for the common good of all. What can we do? How can we help?
1. Sign a petition to the Prime Minister and the Government of Canada asking to address the Climate Emergency now. A petition will be available this Sunday at our morning worship service. Every 25 original signatures obliges our local MP to raise our concern in Parliament.
2. Come to the online fall symposium to learn more about the climate crisis and advocacy from a faith perspective: Saturday October 30th, 12-6:00 pm on the eve of the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference in Glasgow (COP26). Click to learn more and register!
 3. Join with people of faith at St. Andrew’s and around the world as we pray for leaders and decision makers of Canada and all who will be attending the UN Climate Change Conference in Glasgow starting October 31st. Rev. Susan will lead us in prayer Sunday morning. Please join her then and continue with your own prayers.
4. Be open and alert to all ways that you and your family can be more energy efficient in your daily living. Every step taken, every action supported helps.
