On the Sunday following Christmas we enjoyed mulled apple cider, shortbread and carols. There was no sermon today, but each carol was introduced with some background information about its origins. What were the Three Ships? Did you know “Do you Hear What I Hear” was a war protest song during Vietnam?
Today’s service is provided in its entirety. Music included congregational singing sometimes accompanied by flute and accordion; a quartet singing popular arrangements; and organ chorale tune settings by master composers.
